Updating an earlier review where I gave it a 1. Wan to reflect the quick response by customer service. (Doesn't seem to be a way to update old reviews here.) I'd land this product at a solid 4.5. I do love it. Solid cube. Feels quality. Looks nice. The only issue is the plastic tangs in the battery plates. Just an easy break point. I'd be careful transporting it. They couldn't send just a new plate, but they did replace it via their 1 year warranty. Much appreciated for that kind of customer care.

100% is not 100%

Been using this on the regular for almost a year and while I generally like it, I've noticed that often my camera will say a battery is only about 75% charged even though this charger reports 100%. After watching the display closer, I notice that the mAH readout is still going up for some time after it hits 100%, which means that it is still charging. So, you have to double check that the current isn't still flowing (which takes a few seconds to observe) rather than just looking for 100% on the display. Quirky.

I can charge 2 Sony batteries in less than 30 minutes! However, I find it somewhat cumbersome to travel with all my other camera equipment so I had to leave it at home on my last trip.

I looked forward to using this. Unfortunately, the insert (to allow multiple battery types) is made of cheap plastic. Within a month, one of the tangs that hold it into place broke & it won't stay connected now. I continue to duct tape & re-duct tape it to keep it down. I expected better quality from this brand.

Great idea, terrible QC

I owned two of these. One broke within a month of regular, studio usage. The other, bought new, arrived with the same issue. The piece that holds the charging plate in place is made out of cheap plastic, and once that piece is broken, the charger becomes useless.

You can charge one or two batteries at the same time in the Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger for Sony NP-BX1, NP-FW50, and NP-FZ100 Batteries. And there is no specific information on the charging time as it can charge different batteries. If you need to just top a charge on a battery it can take up to 15 minutes.

What is the the charging time for one empty battery by itself and does it slow down for two empty batteries?

Although the manufacturer does not list an exact charge time, it does mention that it will provide enough charge in the batteries within 15 minutes. It does not appear to slow down with two batteries.

The Manfrotto ProCUBE Professional Twin Charger for Sony NP-BX1, NP-FW50, and NP-FZ100 Batteries is a multi-voltage unit compatible for 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz AC input power usage. As such, it may be used on 220V AC input power used in the United Kingdom. However, as it would include a USA power plug, you would need a country plug adapter such as the Travel Smart by Conair 3-Prong USA to 3-Prong Type G Power Adapter Plug, B&H # TRAPGUSAGB, to use the Manfrotto ProCUBE charger in the United Kingdom.
