I could have chosen better
My sensor was pretty messed up, so I didn't want to spend too much on cleaning tools but still wanted something that'd last encase I was successful, so I got this (and the LensPen SensorKlean kit). First using a bulb blower, then SensorKlean Pen 2 to get large dust off, these swabs did a good job getting the finer dust off and, after using a few swabs, working through much of the unidentified residue. However, it left substantial streaks each time, which did not fade. I suspect the residue was oil, so if you have an oily sensor, I would avoid anything except those visible solutions made for that scenario. I think one swab of that would do more than 4 did from this, so I don't feel I got good value, although the case is nice and I'm sure I'll use the other supplies eventually, and perhaps the liquid on cameras I care even less about. Still, with the SensorKlean Pen II, I was able to carefully resolve the streaks and my pictures so far are clear. It's not my main camera for professional shoots these days, so I'm satisfied with the results until I can justify a better kit or manufacturer repair.
