This is a well designed and well build modifier. To be sure the lantern needs to be handled with considerable care. One concern is that the kit does not come with an important part, the magnetic base that will hold it to the flash head. The MagMod MagGrip will however work like a charm.
I have not noticed a lot of difference between using the kit and not using it on my flash. For the money, it isn't worth it. Also, I had to purchase an adapter to attach it to the flash unit. I didn't know until the kit arrived and on the box it said it wasn't included.
