An economical option works great.

Works well as an across the chest strap with a heavy camera. The swivels are a smaller diameter than other QD. Works with RRS plates but very loose. Might work better with a Sunwayfoto plate. I replaced the swivels. I think for maybe the same price you might be able to buy a Magpul sling.
