The E7 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Gimbal Head from Fotopro is a high-performance carbon fiber tripod that operates smoothly in all kinds of environments. The included E-7H Gimbal head offers 360-degree vertical and horizontal movement with no blind angles. The E-H7 gimbal head maintains the weight of a camera and a telephoto lens up to 22 lb while allowing swing, tilt, and 360° panning to follow fast-moving subjects. Attached to a tripod, it only adds a mere 1.5 lb because of its carbon fiber construction, and the head can be leveled at its base without having to adjust the tripods legs on uneven terrain. The E7 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Gimbal Head from Fotopro is a high-performance carbon fiber tripod that operates smoothly in all kinds of environments. The included E-7H Gimbal head offers 360-degree vertical and horizontal movement with no blind angles. The E-H7 gimbal head maintains the weight of a camera and a telephoto lens up to 22 lb while allowing swing, tilt, and 360° panning to follow fast-moving subjects. I purchased the tripod and was happy with it until I lost the foot cradle for the head. I have been unable to find a replacement part as the company customer service is essential non-existent

Since there are two items, they deserve two evaluations. The tripod probably deserves 4 stars; the gimbal at best is a 2 star product - it is too small and jerky to move, not at all suitable. The only thing that lifts the gimbal above the 1 star in that it has a built in level.

Does the gimbal head, collapsable? or stay in that L shape 90 degree way, kind of hard to bag for travel?

In the Fotopro E7 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Gimbal Head you can remove the cradle that holds the camera from the gimbal. Will make it easier to pack it in a bag.

Is there a taller version? I'm 6 ft. tall and the max height on this is only 5'3".

If you are looking for an option from Fotopro and you are looking for an option with a gimbal head, then no, they do not have a taller option. If the gimbal head is not a requirement, the Fotopro T-Roc MAX Professional Tripod, B&H # FOTROCMAX, has a maximum height of 67.3 inches, and would be the tallest option offered by Fotopro in our inventory.

No, keep in mind the legs go up to 64" but the gimbal head adds another 7-8" and then the camera add another 5" or so.
