RED DIGITAL CINEMA 720-0059 Overview

Add USB Type-C connectivity to your KOMODO camera with the KOMODO Link Adapter from RED DIGITAL CINEMA. This slim component mounts on the top of your KOMODO, providing live preview with minimal latency via RED Control and a connected iPhone or Android device. When paired with a separately available USB Type-C to Ethernet adapter, the KOMODO Link Adapter offers ethernet-based remote camera control.

Note:
The KOMODO Link Adapter is not compatible with DSMC, DSMC2, or RED RANGER camera systems. The KOMODO Link will not work in conjunction with the KOMODO Outrigger Handle.

Works great as backup for SDI

I bought this as a backup in case my SDI port fries. Connecting the Link to my iPhone provides a nice backup monitor and peaking and other display settings are passed through the link to the phone.

The RED KOMODO Link Adapter is meant to be used with a mobile device for wired camera control and Files Transfer Protocol Secure functions through the UBS-C port. As of 7/11/21, the RED Komodo Link Adaptor does not support DJI controls.
