The Ronin 3D Focus System enables continuous focus when using manual lenses on a DJI RS 2, RS 3, or RS 3 Pro gimbal. DJI 3D Focus System Overview

The Ronin 3D Focus System enables continuous focus when using manual lenses on a DJI RS 2, RS 3, or RS 3 Pro gimbal. Designed to work with a separately available lens motor, the focus system mounts on top of your camera to automatically detect the distance between the lens and subject to enable a center AF point. One USB-C cable and one 1/4"-20 to shoe mount adapter are included with the focus system.

There is nothing else like it out there. Don't expect it to be Sony's eye auto focus. But for those looking for auto focus from their manual lenses this works surprisingly well.

This is compatible with the Ronin RS2 or RSC2. As long as your camera is mounted on one of those gimbals it will work with any camera including the GH5.

The DJI Ronin 3D Focus System for RS 2 Gimbal is meant to work cooperatively with the DJI RS2 and is not camera specific.

Is this compatible with the FUJIFILM MKX18-55mm T2.9 Lens (Fuji X-Mount)? Also, do I need to have the Raveneye running simultaneously for this work properly?

The DJI Ronin 3D Focus System for RS 2 Gimbal is meant for cinema lenses. However, with the Fujifilm 18-55 lens, you will have to physically stop the lens at its minimum and maximum focus distance during calibration. The Raven Eye Transmission System can run independently from the focus system. It's function is to track a subject.

No, the DJI Ronin 3D Focus System for RS 2/RS 3/RS 3 Pro Gimbal is not compatible with the DJI RS4 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer.

What is the minimum focus distance? I'm trying to use it with a SLR magic 25mm lens (MFT version) and I can't get it to focus on anything unless it's over a meter away from the camera. The SLR Magic 25mm has a minimum focusing distance of 10.2" / 26 cm.

minimum focus distance is determined by the lens not the focus assist device or focus motor. This device will focus as close as the lens allows

The best way to mount the DJI Ronin 3D Focus System for RS 2/RS 3/RS 3 Pro Gimbal onto the gimbal, is on the NATO mounting points on the two sides of the handle of the gimbal.
