Designed with a 33.6mm image circle to cover Super35 sensor cameras, the EF-mount 35mm T2.1 Cine Lens is suitable for 6K resolution capture. It features cine-standard 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears and an 11-blade iris for smooth bokeh. This lens also features multiple coatings for minimal ghosting and flaring, and it offers 270° of focus barrel rotation. For easier focus pulls, the focus scales are marked in both feet and meters on both sides of the lens barrel.

When buying this lens, is it a true 35mm, no crop factor?
This lens is 35mm and will always be a 35mm. It is the size of the sensor that determines the Field of View (FOV) of the image. This lens is meant for Super35 sensors. Since Super35/APS-C sensors are smaller than full frame, it is the sensor that "crops" the any lens's image circle to that size. Since this lens's image circle cannot cover a full frame sensor, its image will always be cropped by a Super35/APS-C sensor.
For the record, the image of this 35mm lens on a Super35/APS-C sensor will be equivalent of a 55mm lens on a full frame sensor.

Doesn't the crop factor only apply if using this lens on a FF as these lens were designed to fully cover S35?
The Meike 35mm T2.1 Cine Lens (EF Mount) is a S35 crop lens and would not work correctly with full frame cameras. S35 has a 1.5x crop making the view of this lens would be 52mm on a APS-C or Super 35 sensor camera.

Do the EF and PL mount versions of this lens have shims so a lens tech could adjust it for precise focus? I am most interested in the EF version at the moment.
Unfortunately, a shim set is not included in the EF and PL mount versions of the Meike Cine Lens series.
