Well suited for EFP as well as house of worship, education, and corporate productions, the Datavideo Universal Remote Control Panel for PTZ and block cameras is a lightweight, portable control panel that is big on features. The back panel features 8 x RJ45 connectors that support RS-422 to control your compatible PTZ cameras (up to 8); an additional RJ45 connector supports DVIP protocol and allows you to control up to 24 cameras/devices (optional network router required). A D-sub 15-pin female connector outputs tally signals to connected cameras—red indicates On-air and Green indicates next camera source. Will this integrate with the hs 1600t mark 2 switcher. What would the workflow be?
Asked by: Billy
The Datavideo HS-1600T MK II is a standalone switcher and the RMC-300A is a stand-alone Camera controller. Unfortunately, they cannot be connected together. The Datavideo HS-1600T MK II comes with a build in camera control panel that controls 3 Datavideo PTZ HDBaseT cameras.

can connect to a switch instead of a router ?
Asked by: Rigoberto
Unfortunately, with the nature of this product's workflow, either the Datavideo PTZ or motorized heads connect to a router to operate over a network or to the controller itself over ethernet. Switching between video feeds is done through a dedicated switcher. Page 8 within the manual shows this. https://bit.ly/3A6q16G
