Use the compact UC1118 SDI to USB 3.1 Type-C Video Capture device from AVMATRIX to record or stream an SDI signal via USB 3.1. With its 3G-SDI BNC input, this capture device supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080p60. It automatically detects the incoming video format and transmits it via USB 3.1 at up to 200 MB/s. It supports UVC and UAC video capture, as well as YUV video output. On the audio side, it has a 3.5mm stereo line input and supports 2-channel, 16-bit, 48 kHz PCM audio.

Does the unit accept audio embedded in the sdi signal along with the video?
I would not recommend using this device with embedded audio, itâs extremely unreliable. The audio will drop without notice and you will have to physically disconnect and reconnect the usb to get it working again. The SDI video is solid but I would recommend using a separate audio capture. We have almost been burned a few times.
