Seeing that this is really the only option for what it is, I was really banking on it to work. Thankfully this works very nicely. Only complaint I have is that the fitment of the dummy battery in the camera isn't too snug but it will still clip into place just fine. Very satisfied with this purchase. I would highly recommend this for anyone who's trying to power their XT cameras with a v mount.
This dummy battery by GyroVu D-Tap works perfectly with my CORE SWX PowerBase Battery. Highly recommend this as a solution for the XT4 or others.
