The Bullet Time Cord for the Insta360 ONE X3, ONE X2, ONE RS (excluding 1-Inch 360), ONE R, ONE X, or ONE camera allows you to spin the camera overhead in Bullet Time mode. Screw it into the 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the camera, pull out the retractable 43" cord its full length, and then swing the camera above your head in a circular motion. A rubber ring on the bottom of the 1/4"-20 screw ensures that no damage will be done to the bottom of your camera where the 1/4"-20 threaded hole is.

Expensive Piece of Sting

Don't know if mine is defective but when you pull the string out, it immediately retracts. I have to hold the string to prevent it from going back into the holder. It sounded like this would be a really cool addition but a piece of string and a screw would do just the same thing... disappointing.......

Does the job though overpriced

It is light and easy to carry - designed to do the single task that it does. But given its size and materials it is overpriced. As it hasn't failed, so far so good.

Does this item allow to use not full length of the cord and lock the shorter length?

The Insta360 Bullet Time Cord for ONE X2 requires full extension for use. To shorten the cable when extended, you can wrap the cable around your finger to achieve desired length.
