How do I sync this to the app without the control box? It says you can.
You need to first use the control box to update the bulb. I suggest taking it to a rental house and doing it there if you don't wanna get the box.

No, they are not identical. The Astera NYX 10W LED Bulb Engine with RGBA + Mint, B&H # ASFP, would have a wider white CCT temperature range of 1,750K to 20,000K as well as having the ability to output color light due to its RGBAM and is only compatible for use in E26 outlets that use 100 to 120 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz outlets. Meanwhile the Astera FP5-NYX Bulb, B&H # ASFP5NYX, has a more narrow white CCT temperature range of 3200K to 6500K, and it only outputs white light. The light fixture is also compatible for international usage as it may be used with 100 to 240 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz Edison lamp sockets.
