Bering Optics' 1x26 PVS-7BE Elite Night Vision Bi-Ocular & Headgear Kit offers a versatile, compact, and rugged night vision device that can be used handheld, mounted to a helmet, or worn with the included headgear. It features a 3rd generation thin film white phosphor intensifier tube and offers a great advantage over second generation tubes in terms of greater sensitivity and higher gain. To maximize image brightness in near-total darkness, the device carries a built-in infrared illuminator that casts IR light on your targets. For convenience and stealth in tactical applications, the device has a status indicator and an automatic off function when you turn it up or take of off your headgear. The 1x lens system, upgradable to higher magnifications with optional lenses, offers a wide 40° field of view and an ultrashort minimum focus distance of 10".

The housing is made of lightweight and impact-resistant polymer, is fog and waterproof, and provides protection from adverse conditions and extreme temperatures. To prevent a spill-over of light from the intensifier tube, and to provide a comfortable cushion between your eyes and the eyepieces, the eyepieces feature wide winged rubber eyecups. The body is ergonomic, has knurled adjustment rings, and has a 1/4"-20 socket for mounting on a tripod.
