A subset of the Synchron Percussion II collection, Vienna Symphonic Library Synchron Orchestral Percussion II Full Library is a virtual instrument with a library that accurately captures the sound of small orchestral instruments percussionists keep in their special drawer. The instruments were recorded at Synchron Stage A Vienna with every nuanced detail using seven phase-controlled multimicrophone setups. The included Synchron Player allows you to mix the microphones to create stereo, 5.1 surround, or Auro 3D mixes, each with different levels of ambience and stereo panorama.
Weather-related percussion includes thundersheets in two different sizes to create dramatic thunderous effects, a windmachine to simulate the sounds of wind and storm, and a rainmaker stick that emulates the gentle sound of rain.
Two vibraslaps, three ratchets, and three slapsicks (all in different sizes) provide a variety of playful sounds. The lion's roar friction drum helps create alarming, growling sounds, while the two waldteufel friction drums offer the same but with higher pitches. Modern log drums and a set of anvil tubes complete the collection.
