The Olympus PRF-ZD95 PRO ZERO Protection Filter is a simple, clear 95mm filter designed for general protection for your lens. This optically clear filter does not affect the overall image quality while helping reduce dust, scratches, moisture, and other elements from damaging your lens.
The thin Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical (ZERO) coating works to produce a clear and high-contrast image by reducing reflections. The coating also benefits from the vacuum deposition method to prevent scratches and ensure stable low-reflective performance. A fluorine coating has also been applied to the filter surface, which aids in cleaning and also better resists fingerprints and other surface markings.
The optical glass filter is set within a one-piece satin black aluminum ring, which lessens the likelihood of vignetting if used on a wide-angle lens. There is also a black coating on the glass edge to reduce reflections. Additionally, the ring features front threads for attaching additional filters or lens caps.
