Available for download, the Overloud LRS Eddied EL34 Rig Library is a selection of guitar amp and cabinet emulations for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones were emulated by LRS (Live Ready Sound), a company known for its digital modeling.
This particular expansion library recreates the sound of an EVH 5150 III amplifier with EL34 tubes, a three-channel beast made famous by Eddie Van Halen. It offers a green, blue, and red channel. The green channel offers a sparkling and compressed clean tone, while the blue and red channels offer darker timbres with generous saturation.
LRS has modeled this amp in multiple configurations using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes. You'll find 173 rigs offered in total. Forty-one rigs feature the amp only, while 131 rigs offer the amp plus multiple cabinets and microphones. Additionally, this amp has been modeled with different preamp tubes to give you a versatile tonal palette.
