Available for download, the Overloud Choptones Fend SRev Rig Library is a selection of guitar amp and cabinet emulations for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones were emulated by Choptones, a company known for its models ported to multiple platforms.
This particular expansion library recreates the sound of a Fender Super Reverb, a classic guitar amplifier to be sure, known for its impeccable folk, blues, and classic rock tones. The amp modeled here is a '65 reissue, modded with old capacitors, transformers, and speakers to give you as close to the original sound as you can get without spending thousands of dollars.
Choptones has modeled this amp in multiple configurations, using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes. You'll find 96 rigs offered in total captured with Shure, Royer, AKG, and other microphones. Multiple Fender cabinets have been utilized, as has a classic Vox cab, which adds a British flare to this distinctly American tone. Many distortion pedals have been modeled as well.
