I used these with a low folding table and my tripod for a one-time copy project. The clamps didn't work on my folding table with a plastic top, but did work nicely on a more solid sheet of plywood. I could position the lamps easily where I wanted them, even though the adjustments are not completely universal. The light is very bright, at daylight color temperature, and the LEDs do not heat up during a session. My set up was improvised, but the results were professional.
Needed a flexible, bright and color corrected lighting system for a DIY macrophotography setup. The Impact dual LED panels and stands were perfect for my application. I use a Canon 90D with the custom white balance setting and 50mm compact macro lens for photographing fossils.
