No, unless the MuxLab 4x4 4K60 HDMI Matrix Switch is producing n actual outputting signal, a computer will not see any signal until such action is taken by the switch.

Does this support refresh rates above 60Hz? For example, 1080p@120Hz or 1440p@144Hz. Both of those should be doable with HDMI2.0

The MuxLab 4×4 4K60 HDMI Matrix Switch's highest supported frame rate is 4K/60. Moreover, it only works with standard broadcast resolutions and frame rates; 1440@144Hz and 120Hz are not supported. Resolutions and frame rates supported: 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p @ 24/30/50/60 Hz, 4K @ 60 Hz, and 1080P3D @ 60 Hz.
