The Focal Arche is a digital to analog converter and audiophile headphone amplifier featuring two pure Class-A amplification modes designed specifically to drive headphones. Additional rear-panel connectors allow you to use the Arche's excellent digital to analog conversion technology to feed pristine audio to high-fidelity amplifiers and loudspeakers.
Both the TOSLINK and coaxial inputs support digital audio at rates of up to 192 kHz, while a USB Type-B connection accepts digital audio from your computer. The USB Type-A port is designed for firmware updates. A pair of RCA inputs provides a stereo analog input option.
Headphones are driven either by the balanced 4-pin XLR output or the unbalanced 1/4" output. Two balanced XLR outputs, as well as a pair of unbalanced RCA outputs, are available for connection to amplified speakers.
Presets for every set of Focal high-fidelity headphones (Utopia, Stellia, Clear, Elegia, and Elear) are on board, engineered to make sure you get the absolute best sonic experience from your headphone investment. The Arche includes an aluminum headphone stand with tools to easily integrate it into the chassis, creating an elegant storage solution.
