Will this lens and its 18-55 counterpart mount on a Sony A7 III?
Asked by: Clarke
Theoretically, yes, as both are the Sony E mounts. However, due to the weight of the MK series lenses, you risk breaking the camera-side mount, unless you have a release plate, hunt cage, or other rig to use a pair of support rods and a lens support bridge (both not included with lens).

The Wooden Camera 2-Stage Clamp-On 4 x 5.65" Zip Box (80-85mm) is a nice option to mount directly to this lens, BH #WO241600. https://bhpho.to/2Aosn5R

What is the equivalent focal length of this lens ...

What is the equivalent focal length of this lens in 35mm terms. Is it 100-270mm or something else?
Asked by: W. Bill
This is going to depend on the size of the sensor you're using, and how the specific camera utilizes that sensor. If you use it on a GH5 (crop factor 2.0), it will be 100-270. If you're using it on a BMPCC4K (crop factor 1.9), it will be approx 95-256. If you use it with a Super 35 sensor, the answer given by Dennis is likely correct. Note that the lens also has built-in flange distance adjustment to accommodate different cameras. If you change the flange distance, you're also effectively changing the crop factor to some degree.

Unfortunately, we don't sell that specific lens hood separately. However, we do have 82mm lens hoods that you can attach. Here is a list of our selection of those lens hoods: https://bhpho.to/2XeoN6U
