Nicknamed the "100 MPH Windscreen", the black WindTech 10377 is a military-grade windscreen engineered for use in very-high-wind and rough weather conditions for applications such as police motorcycles, live sportscasting, and open cockpit in military aircraft. It fits miniature headset microphones 3/8" in diameter.
The 10377 is made from a specially developed, American-made, high-density, military-grade S80 SonicFoam designed to eliminate wind noise, pop noises, and breath sounds. The open-cell SonicFoam permits the free passage of sound energy without altering the microphone's frequency response—making it acoustically transparent.
The durable 10377 also helps to protect your mic from dust, dampness, and physical damage. It even features a proprietary, water-repellent/wicking treatment on the outside that meets military-requirement standards—including, the 100-hour float test and 24-hour / 4g maximum water-absorption test.
The hypo-allergenic, polyurethane SonicFoam does not contain formaldehyde or other dangerous chemicals and is in compliance with California Proposition 65. This pack contains five 10377 windscreens.
