The black WindTech 10380 is a military-grade windscreen engineered for use in high-wind and rough weather conditions for applications such as live broadcast news and outdoor events. It fits small lavalier and headset microphones 3/8" in diameter.
The 10380 is made from a specially developed, American-made, high-density, military-grade S80 SonicFoam designed to eliminate wind noise, pop noises, and breath sounds. The open-cell SonicFoam permits the free passage of sound energy without altering the microphone's frequency response—making it acoustically transparent. The windscreen provides from 5 to 15 dB of wind noise protection depending on the microphone being used.
The durable 10380 also helps to protect your mic from dust, dampness, and physical damage. It even features a proprietary, water-repellent/wicking treatment on the outside that meets military-requirement standards.
The hypo-allergenic, polyurethane SonicFoam does not contain formaldehyde or other dangerous chemicals and is in compliance with California Proposition 65. This pack contains five 10380 windscreens.
