This 10-stop, 112mm NC ND1000 Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens from NiSi is made to fit the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S lens and provides a layer of protection to the front optic without vignetting. This ultra-thin neutral density filter attaches to the 112mm filter thread in the lens' included HB-97 lens hood, is made of H-K9L optical glass, and it features nine layers of U-Type antireflective Nano multi-coating on each side and an additional hardened waterproof coating for protection from the elements. The filter ring is milled from brass and features side knurling for smooth installation and removal.

Can u focus and or meter thru it
Would you need to pre-focus the image prior to attaching the filter. NISI recommends using their Filters App to help calculate the exposure more easily.

Does anyone know if you can stack two or more of these filters on the Nikkor 14-24 mm f/2.8?
This will not stack with another filter as it does not have threads on the front. Stacking another filter will also introduce vignetting. We recommend our S6 150mm Filter Holder if you want to stack filters without vignetting.

Has anyone taken (very) long exposures with these or any other brand ND filters? Nikon HB-97 hood has slits at the back. Imagine there be light leakage?
There have been some reports of light leaking when using ND filters with the HB-97 lens hood. The NiSi lens hood was designed specifically for long exposures to prevent light leakage. Item #NIPHOODNZ14 https://bhpho.to/3zWolwU

There are no front filter threads for attaching a filter to the front of the NiSi ND64 112mm NC Neutral Density Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens (6-Stop) (B&H# NICCN64NZ). As such, you would have to add this on top of the CPL or other filter to use them together.

Yes, the NiSi NC ND64 Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens (112mm , 6-Stop) threads on to the Nikon HB-97 Lens Hood for Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens (B&H # NIHB97) first, not the lens barrel.
