The Intel Cockpit Remote Controller for Falcon 8+ Octacopter is designed to be the primary controller for pilots of the Falcon 8+ drone. Dual joysticks make it intuitive to fly and even allows for one-handed piloting. It also supports Intel Mission Control Software for detailed flight planning in 2D and 3D. You can also use the remote and Mission Control software to perform pre-flight safety and system checks, activate payload functions, preview post-flight video footage, and more. The cockpit remote supports secondary controllers for operating payloads, leaving the cockpit remote to pilot the drone. The entire Cockpit Remote Controller is conveniently powered by the same flight battery used by the Falcon 8+ (not included).
- Flight Planning: Create complex custom waypoint missions.
- Quick Survey: Automated survey flight without a laptop. Enter ground sample distance and start/final angle coordinates to have the Falcon 8+ automatically set flight altitude, speed, GPS-based photo positions, and overlapping to provide results with the shortest flight time.
- Path Planning: Create an exact reproduction of aerial images. Using several photo positions and camera orientation, save single waypoints or complex paths with multiple waypoints to repeat the flight.
- Payload Functions: Engage payload functions, such as Circle of Interest (COI), which generates a circular waypoint flight for the systematic capturing of images around the Point of Interest (POI) that you set.
