White or red light, head-mounted or handheld—the Fenix HM61R Rechargeable Headlamp presents a lot of options. This waterprooof, impact-resistant aluminum light is equally at home on the job, on a camping trip, or around the house. It's easy to operate and recharge, and offers a high peak output and a long runtime. The HM61R's 3500mAh 18650 battery charges inside the light by means of a magnetic charge cord, and delivers runtime as long as 300 hours on the lowest setting. Choose between five brightness levels of white light, plus low, high, and flashing red-light settings. You can remove the light from the headband for use as a handheld right-angle flashlight; on one end is a large, textured push button switch, while the other end is magnetized for hands-free use.
The adjustable elastic headband is hollow for comfort, includes an overhead strap for support and stability, and bears reflective markings for safety. The light carries an IP68 water resistance rating, submersible to 6.6', and has been tested to withstand being dropped 6.6' to a hard surface with no damage. The light measures 4 x 1.8 x 1.4" and weighs 3.5 ounces, plus the battery.
