Yes, the Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX 4-Deck Serato DJ Controller is compatible with Virtual DJ software. To upgrade from the included Serato DJ Lite software, you can purchase Serato DJ Pro (B&H # SEDJ), which we have available as a download. Hello! The Mixtrack Platinum FX does not feature a native recording feature, there are plenty of free third-party solutions for recording your computer's audio! The most common of these is Audacity, which is available for free!
