The 18 x 24" PortaFrame Scrim Flag Kit from Impact contains some of the lesser-known modifiers in imaging, though they have a maximum effect on a production's subtlety and nuance, especially in close-ups. They also provide the ability to selectively light larger areas. The kit is comprised of five folding, compact, metal flag frames that accept sleeved fabric modifiers that are stretched into the 18 x 24" shape when locked into place.

Are the frame's arms supposed to lock in place? I purchased a kit but can't seem to keep the frame's arms from flopping around.
The frames on the Impact PortaFrame Scrim Flag Kit (24 x 36") lock in place. But part of the process is the material.
