I bought this product before. The new one is missing the clear plastic to protect the camera screen. Also it has no grave to insert the plastic protector. I have to continue to use the old cover and make my own clear plastic protector.

Does not fit the camera snuggly. Covers several buttons like the C1, C2, C3, etc. They are marked but hard to see as they are black as the cover material.

Yes easyCover Silicone Protection Cover for Nikon Z5, Z6 II, & Z7 II (Black) may cause the camera to overheat in certain instances. You may want to try to pull the LCD away from the camera as in general that helps to keep the camera from overheating.

It was made specifically for the dimensions, contours, screen size, and button layout of the Nikon D3200 DSLR camera. As the Nikon D3100 has since been discontinued, it is not available for testing for compatibility. As such, your results may vary.
