The Film Devices Microphone Travel Boompole Kit is designed to give traveling on-location recordists everything they need to hold up a boom mic on the go. Made of durable aluminum, the pole is lightweight at 1.6 lb. It collapses down to 20", so it will fit in carry-on luggage with ease.
When you're using it, the boompole can extend up to 67". The pole is outfitted with a 1/4"-20 male thread and comes with a 3/8"-16 threaded adapter to fit common microphone shockmounts. Included with the boompole are a boom holder and a grip head.
