This 100% cotton Duvetyne Roll from Liba Fabrics measures 57" wide and is ten yards long. It is used extensively in the film and theater industries for blocking light or to simulate outer space. It can also be used for creating a light-to-dark ratio on flat, overcast days in photography and video. Easily cut or torn, the fabric meets NFPA 701 fire-retardant standards (certificate available).

It's not Duvetyne, just black fabric. Duvetyn blocks light; this fabric I received is not blocking light. Go to amazon and see Duvetyne Light Block-out Cloth, 54x5 Yards, Black $44. Its 100% blackout. One side soft, the other side like light waxed hard fabric.
Good quality cloth, but not entirely opaque; little speckles of light show through if trying to block bright light. If you need true blackout, get the 16oz weight duvetyne.
