The Extended Quick Release Baseplate from Tilta provides additional security when using a larger, heavier camera on your DJI RS 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, RS4 Mini, RS 5, or RSC 2 stabilizer. This quick release plate is sturdier than the one that came with the DJI RS4, which kept coming loose, and was eventually lost. It distributes the weight more evenly and gives a couple of options for attaching the camera or the lens.
It does not work with the RS3 pro gimbal if you are using the RS focus motor assembly. It won't line up when trying to add the focus motor rail to the baseplate. The original small baseplate that comes with the gimbal has a smaller threaded receptacle in between two guide pins. There is a narrower guide-pin width too. I'd like to post photos of the issue but this review platform lacks the ability to upload photos....
