The 1/4 is loose, must be taped to insure that it stays connected.
HOSA cables are great bang for the buck.

I have always had great luck with HOSA cables and other reviewers have compared their cables to ones costing hundreds and find them not far behind in sound quality. HOSA is always my first choice.
