With livestreaming becoming more and more popular, the Glide Gear TMP 75 was designed as a compact teleprompter that can be attached right over your laptop webcam so you can speak directly into the camera. It attaches to the top of your laptop screen via two hooks, and the hooks are height adjustable so the prompter can be properly matched up to your webcam. Your smartphone is used for loading your text into any prompting app from the App Store or Google Play. Your phone is placed in a tray on the front of the teleprompter and it reflects the text to the included 70/30 beamsplitter glass that sits above it. Virtually any smartphone can be placed in the tray.
The TMP 75 is a 3-in-1 teleprompter. Besides using it with a laptop and webcam, you can mount a DSLR or mirrorless camera on the back of the prompter and attach the whole setup to a tripod or a shoulder rig. Two included 7.4" 15mm rods install into the 15mm LWS rod mount on the rear of the prompter, and an included camera platform mounts onto the rods, providing a 1/4"-20 screw for attaching your camera. Using the 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 tripod thread on the bottom of the teleprompter, you can then mount the whole setup on a standard or desktop tripod. The third way of using the TMP 75 is connecting it to your shoulder rig via the two rods, for moving, handheld applications. A cloth hood is supplied for keeping light out when using a camera. When working with a webcam, an included cover secures to the back of the prompter using provided hook-and-loop fasteners.
The TMP 75 has a compact design and requires only minimal assembly, such as when securing the back cover to block light, or when making other small adjustments when changing modes.

This thing is so light weight but it is built better than i thought it would be at this price. I haven't tried it on the front of a laptop yet but it works great on my Canon and Blackmagic cameras.

I'd like to know if this would work with a Lilliput 7" monitor? Will the clamp accept it instead of a smartphone?

Will it work with wide angle lenses. specifically 16mm 20mm and 24mm focal lengths?
Rule of thumb, when setting up to shoot from behind the glass of a teleprompter, is to stick to lenses with focal lenses that are 32-35mm or higher. Depending on the design of the prompter and the way your acquisition device is set up, anything under that focal length will probably result in some level of undesirable vignetting.
