Don't sleep on having an extra cold shoe! I added this to my Tilta Komodo Cage and now I can more effectively mount a shotgun AND monitor. Great to have! B&H shipped this extremely quickly and I was able to use it on a shoot, just in time.

Does this cold shoe have a stop position if I mount it vertically? I am asking so if I were to mount something on it, would it slide off if accidentally loosened?

There is not a stopper, so to speak, but this shoe does have an anti-twist pins: "The anti-twist pins are permanently attached, ensuring that your accessory will stay secure and not unexpectedly shift"
