Does this plate allow data pass through to the ...
Does this plate allow data pass through to the camera to indicate time remaining on the komodo? I am currently using this plate in conjunction with the AB Titon 45 battery and the komodo is saying it is an incompatible battery and unable to communicate time remaining in terms of power. Obviously this is a problem during shooting not readily knowing when the battery is about to die.
no it does not, only specific plates approved by RED and listed on their site are able to communicate with the camera. please refer to the manufacture (RED) website for their list of approved third party plates that will support this functionality
