I have 2 Nova 300's and after using them 4 times I knew using battery power was not an option. Like others, I wish the controller had the v-mount plates already attached but they don't and these are worth it. Catch them on sale but they truly work and allow you to be mobile without any trip hazards to worry about. I do not have any locking issues on the 2 I have and they allow you to have the freedom to move about as needed.
