This magnetic cap is only compatible with select I Series lenses featuring a 55mm filter diameter and is intended for use when the lens hood is not attached. The metal cap has a felt backing to prevent scratching and a raised front edge enables a firm grip for easy removal.

I love the magnetic metal lens caps so much better than the Sigma plastic pinch caps . Sigma plastic lens caps are hard to get on and knock off easily . They look good but so does the metal lens caps that you can literally throw on .
Doesn't work on my lens, but will attach to the keychain clip for it. Super disappointing, and basically pointless to go through with a return. Bummer because I'm a huge Sigma fan and have 3 of their cameras. Just a lens cap, but very annoying. AVOID BUYING FOR THE 45MM
