Gator MIC-0822 Reviews
good for price
I like this more than the starndard mic arm design, the counterweight is bulky at the back but a great idea and works well. I've had it for 6 months ish, hasn't broke or anything, but it's definitely a little wobbly at some points. Not wobbly like it will break, everything is strong and it will keep holding my mics for years but some points wiggle around a little. Just don't put lots of pressure on the threads in the wrong direction
Sturdy and solid
I use it as a desktop mic stand. It has a good heavy base and the boom arm is sturdy enough. I leave the rotating joint loose so I can just swing the mic out of the way when not needed. So much better than the old vertical desktop mic stand I used to use, which was always in the way. Not that cheap but I am very happy with it.
