First time using it in Sirui Saturns it was siezed and I eventually got t off. Was very careful and switched out lenses a handful of times without much difficulty. Now it seems to be permanently stuck on my lens. I have tried a soft pipe wrench, cooling, heating, tapping and trying to manipulate the ring. Even a few taps on a piece of wood to try and force it open. I have yet to grab a torch or penetrating oil. It’s a pretty pricey adapter that is on a lens I like. Maybe I and the other reviewer that I ignored before purchasing received defective units. As far as optics, it does the job well. The build seems very nice apart from the major defect. My use was indoors with a handful of times outside in perfect weather not in the mud or sand or jolted around harshly. Do not buy this product until the issue is addressed. Unless you buy one for every lens you use. I am aware pl can get stuck, and need a bit of attention at times and this is much worse than that.

First PL to E I've ever used that came with the correct flange distance and no need for shims. Well done! Super solid and well built, great fit on FX9 and lens sides. This is the one to get.

The DZOFilm Octopus Adapter (PL to L, Black), B&H # DZOADPLLBLK, is compatible with the Panasonic LUMIX S5 II Mirrorless Camera (B&H # PADCS5M2Q) for the L mount. The PL to E mount adapter is not the correct one.

Will the PL to Sony E adapter fit on the ronin 4D if you have the e-mount instead of the DL mount?

Yes, the DZOFilm Octopus Lens Adapter's (PL to Sony E, ) protruding bayonet grips would likely collided with the Ronin 4D's bond. I would recommend using the DZOFilm Octopus Adapter for PL-Mount Lens to DJI Ronin 4D Mount instead.

The shims normally would be on the PL side and that adapts to the lens. We are not aware of any solutions to shim the camera side Sony E-Mount.
