I have found all Hosa products to be no frills and effective tools....I just wish they and all manufacturers would coil the cables properly....I know, you can't cram as many into the box if you don't wad them up, but sometimes the cables never recover from that initial wadding up in packaging.

Can this cable be used for transmitting analog audio signals? Can it be used to connect a subwoofer?
The Hosa Technology S/PDIF RCA Male to RCA Male Digital Cable - 6.5' (B&H # HOS6) is designed for the S/PDIF standard, a digital interface, and this cable may not be suitable for transmitting analog audio in all cases. To connect to a subwoofer, it is generally recommended to use a dedicated RCA interconnect cable such as the SVS SoundPath RCA Audio Interconnect Cable (6.5'), B&H # SVSPRCAAIC2M.
