The PZ-186 Camera Plate for Nikon Z 7II, Z 6II, Z 7, Z 6, and Z 5 mirrorless cameras from Kirk Enterprises is a black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum quick release plate designed with registration pins that set into the base of the camera to prevent rotation or movement. Made with an Arca-type dovetail, the plate works with compatible tripod heads, brackets, and other devices. Sensor centering lines have been scored into the back of the plate to help center the camera for precision placement. Full access to the battery door is maintained, and the movement range of the camera's tilting LCD monitor is unobstructed. A hand strap loop has been machined at the end of the plate, and it also features a QD (Quick Disconnect) System receiver.

Have you verified yet that this plate will or can be made to fit the Z6 III ?
There is a difference between (a slight difference) between this Plate PZ-186 and the PZ190...
I purchased the PZ186 due to arrive in a few days for my Nikon Z6III according to the reviews here it's stated it will fit...but...there is a slight difference the PZ-190 has a slightly different shape that will better conform to the Z6III ...there's a small bulge where the plate meets the camera and the QR is on the other side of the mounting screw. Apparently the Z 6III has a slight bulge where the Z6, Z6II Z7 Z7II and the Z50 don't have it...so yes it will fit it just that the PZ-190 has it's own shape peculiar to the Z 6III

This looks like it will fit the Z6iii as the bottom holes seem similar to my Z5. Can you confirm that?
Yes, the hole configuration on the Nikon Z6iii is very similar to the Nikon Z5, so the Kirk PZ-186 Camera Plate for Nikon Z 7II, Z 6II, Z 7, Z 6, and Z 5 will probably work with the Z6iii, but we cannot confirm it 100% as we have not been able to test it yet.
