I purchased this device to use as the core aggregation switch for my home office, and it has been exactly what I needed: simple, fast, and reliable. It provides clean 10 GbE connectivity between my computers, NAS devices, and uplinks without noise or unnecessary complexity, and the fanless design is ideal for a home office environment. The UniFi app made initial setup and configuration a breeze.
Great speed up with 10GB ports.

Easy to install, great Speedup with 10GB ports. Just remember to get the SPF+ adapters for the number of ports you need to use. I used this to feed the other switches on my network. The 10GB speed really made a difference. Camera feeds greatly improved.

Can this able to support 8 pcs of 10G SFP+ to RJ45 convertor plug in together?
Only 4 of the 8 ports are supported for RJ45 modules (due to heat). Per Ubiquiti's site: Max. number of supported SFP+ modules. UACC-CM-RJ45-10G: 4, UACC-CM-RJ45-MG: 4

Will this switch permit backwards operation to 2.5g and 1g on each port like some of the newer switches?
This switch is specific to the SFP+ standard which is not backward compatible.

Will this work with 1.25/1.063 Gbps Bi-Directional transceivers ?
The USW-AGGREGATION is recommended for use with 10Gbps SFP+ transceivers. Support for 1.25 Gbps SFP transceivers has been reported by some users, but not officially recommended by Ubiquiti.
