The Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to AIO converts a live NDI stream into HDMI and SDI outputs in up to 1080p60 resolution, decoding and outputting simultaneously. It decodes up to a 2K60 H.264/H.265 stream and AAC/MP3 audio. It supports NDI|HX3 with a new firmware update.
A Web UI provides comprehensive information about the decoded signal in real time while allowing you to adjust how the signal is decoded and output. Adjustments can be made to deinterlacing factors, resolution, audio gain, sample rate, channel mapping, the network connection, and OSD settings. Onboard controls allow you to pull up the menu and cycle through the menu options. A 16-position rotary dip switch lets you set the board index from 0 to F.
Power can be supplied over PoE or the USB port. LED indicators confirm the power and decoding status, including decoding errors. The Pro Convert provides all these capabilities in a compact design that can easily be integrated into your workflow. An SD card slot is provided on the side, but it is currently not active and there's no mention from Magewell about whether it's expected to be activated at a future time.
