Olight Obulb Rechargeable Lantern (Basalt Gray)

The basalt gray Olight Obulb Rechargeable Lantern is a handy little light-up globe that can serve many purposes: a trouble light for the car; a tent light; an accent light for the kitchen; a blinking red safety flasher; an emergency light during a power outage; a floating pool light; and, if you have a hook with a metal base, a holiday ornament. You can probably think of other uses, too. This waterproof orb shines steady, warm (2700K) white light at two levels, 55 and 3.5 lumens, as well as a steady and flashing red light. Its bottom is magnetic—stick it on the underside of the car hood, on the fridge, or any other metal surface. In fact it comes with its own metal stick-on badge you can use to mount it on non-metallic surfaces. The 630mAh battery recharges by means of a magnetic USB cable and will power the Obulb for as long as 55 hours.

The Obulb is IPX7-rated waterproof and perfectly safe to toss in the water (it floats). Tougher than it looks, the orb has been found to withstand falling 5' to a hard surface in drop tests. A rubber-coated push button switch turns it on and off and selects light color and brightness. At just under 2" in diameter and just under 2 ounces in weight, the Obulb is easy to store and won't add much bulk or weight to your outdoor recreation gear.
