Can the Celestron C9 1/4-A XLT be upgraded to a 2 ...

Can the Celestron C9 1/4-A XLT be upgraded to a 2 inch focuser and 90 degree Eyepiece? If so what are the recommendations and part numbers? Thanks
Asked by: Frank
There are aftermarket 2" refractor-style focusers available that can be attached to the C9.25" OTA. You could also attach a 2" SCT 90 degree diagonal to the rear cell in order to use 2" eyepieces. Celestron item #93527

question

I see the mount handle obstructing the polar bore scope ? how do you polar align this with handle obstructing ?
Asked by: Guruprasad H.
The CGX and CGX-L mounts utilize the All Star Polar Alignment routine. It is substantially more accurate than a polar finder scope. However, if a customer insists on using a Polar Scope, we do offer one that is used off axis. But trust me, once you use All Star Polar Alignment - you will never want to use a polar scope again.
