The Upgraded TourBox NEO Creative Software Controller is the second generation TourBox controller, upgraded with an improved left-side dial and center knob for smoother and more accurate adjustments, but otherwise the same programmable editing controller as the original. The TourBox NEO is a universal controller for numerous photo, video, audio, animation, drawing, and other applications, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro X, Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Audition, Cinema 4D, Capture One, Clip Studio Paint, Comic Studio, PaintTool SAI, and more. It connects to your Mac or Windows computer via a USB Type-C interface using an included cable and powers from your computer.
The TourBox NEO can also be set up to work together with mice, keyboards, and graphics tablets. A common workflow is using the controller with one hand and a mouse with the other. The compact, ergonomic design has different-shaped controls in different locations that allow you to more easily find them by touch. Altogether, it offers buttons, dials, scroll wheels, knobs, and function buttons that can be operated independently or in combination. You can set up to 42 operations as keyboard shortcuts or built-in functions. For select software, preset configurations can be imported from the TourBox software, which is provided as a free download for Mac and Windows. The TourBox NEO can manage multiple preset configurations and allow you to switch between them.

TourBox NEO Creative Reviews
Steep learning curve, but extremely useful!
I bought the TourBox NEO and have been using it for a couple months. As a digital artist, it's been a super helpful and ergonomic shortcut controller that I find really comfortable to use. There's a plethora of buttons and button combinations available for your needs. However, it was a bit difficult remembering immediately what every keybind did while in the middle of drawing, and it definitely took time to learn what settings worked for me. I also needed to get a separate gel rest to support my wrist while working, since I'd want to rest my wrist on the table while working on my tablet. One thing that worries me a bit is that the left side button, which I use the most, wiggles a little bit in its placement. Not sure if that's a sign of damage, or if it's normal. Beyond that, however, the build quality is fantastic. Considering how I'm enjoying it, if I got a bit more disposable income, I'd definitely consider upgrading to an Elite Plus once I get a standalone tablet.
A Solid Unit!
I wanted to switch from the Contour Shuttle Pro v2 to something more modern and came across this. It's a solid unit and weighs more than I expected it to! Retraining my muscle memory to this new configuration has been a challenge, but I'm loving it so far! The Console app is fairly easy to use to program the buttons and update the default presets. So far my only real complaint is the lack of wrist support if you rest your hand on it while editing like I do. You may want to have some padding to support your wrist if you're doing a long editing session. Since I have joint problems that I have to accommodate, that's the only thing that makes me give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend it!
