No, the Wooden Camera Lens Support Adapter for Sony FX6, is only compatible with the Wooden Camera FX6 cage system. The screw threads are further apart on the FX6 top plate, than on the FX3 top plate.

Yes it is possible to leave the lens support adapter on the camera, however, It might get in the way if you attempt to mount other lenses or adapters on your camera.

This product is made exclusively for the Wooden Camera E-Mount to PL Mount Pro adapter. We do not recommend this for any other lens adapters.
