Key Features
  • Enables Hands-Free Use
  • Reduces Vibration and Arm Fatigue
  • 1/4"-20 Threaded Stud
  • 1/4"-20 Mounting Thread
The Vortex Optics Pro Binocular Tripod Adapter allows you to easily mount your binoculars outfitted with a 1/4"-20 threaded socket on a photo/video/field tripod, head, or quick release plate for hands-free use. Its unique two-part system allows you to thread the binocular portion into the optic and leave it there, even when you're not using the tripod, while still offering a solid connection to your tripod when its attached to the base. The base of the adapter has a 1/4"-20 mount to be compatible with a wide variety of support systems. Using it with your binoculars, especially high-power ones or those with large objective lenses, helps to steady the view, reduce vibrations, and eliminate arm fatigue.

Is this compatible with all brands/ models binoculars. If not, what are the exceptions?
Asked by: Marv
The Vortex Pro Binocular Tripod Adapter is not compatible with all binoculars; however, it is compatible with most binoculars. The binoculars need to have thread located in between the front two lenses. Most binoculars do have the standard thread; you will just unscrew it and then screw in the Vortex Pro Binocular Tripod Adapter.
